This regulation is fundamentally important for Safety professionals, compliance and regulatory officers, and public health authorities working to minimize the risks associated with the use of chemicals.<\/p>\r\n<p>CLP regulates not only the Chemical Industry, which is clearly the most directly involved sector, but it is a cross-cutting regulation affecting all industrial sectors that use hazardous substances and mixtures and for various applications: from manufacturing of paints and coatings, to the Textile Industry, agricultural compounds, and even the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic industries concerning bulk raw materials used in the manufacturing process. At first glance, it may not be easy to navigate legislative analyses to clearly identify obligations and responsibilities.
